Human Resources Information System (HRIS) End-user Support Officer (French-speaking)
(Based in MSSC)
Job Purpose
The HRIS end-user support ensures HRIS data is accurate and processed in line with the internal rules, by assisting the users, maintaining the referential and the permissions up to date. The position is the first line of help when internal customers encounter problems or defects with HRIS tools.
Main Responsibilities
Below responsibilities are distributed among team members:
End-user support - Identify, diagnose and resolve Level 1 issues with HRIS applications to internal customers; Provide end-user support for queries relating to the Employee Self Service; Use good judgement and escalate the problem to Level 2, if required; Diagnose, describe and report malfunctions accurately to the Application Manager responsible
Access management - Ensure all users have the correct access according to internal rules and confidentiality, report and check the use of HRIS tools
Data repository administration - Manage and maintain the referential data according to internal rules and procedures; Coordinates with respective internal customers regarding changes in the referential data
Reports delivery - Deliver and implement regular reports to other departments; Deal with questions relating to data provided in the reports; Coordinate changes in the report requirements/parameters with Application Managers and ensure that proper documentation is in place
Process documentation - Create and/or user guides of HRIS L1 based on information provided by Application Manager; Maintain the user guide inventory updated
Data quality - Control and ensure data quality, instruct users to make necessary corrections; correct data upon instructions when the user does not have access to do it
Project Management Support - Control Support data alignment activities and tasks for the HRspace deployment; Update tracking logs and coordinate status of HRspace activities to Team Lead; Undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by the Project Management team
Selection Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources / Administration
- At least 3 years experience in HR administration, payroll or accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English
- Excellent computer literacy (Excel, Word)
- Experience using an HR Information system, in particular Meta4PeopleNet and/or Success Factors (SAP) considered an asset.
- Great attention to detail and ability to excel in a challenging and new environment
