Join the human resources team of an international humanitarian organization. The ICRC delegation in Manila is hiring for an:
HR OFFICER
based in Makati City
Under the leadership of the HR Manager, the main responsibility of the HR Officer will be recruitment and talent management. He or she will support the organization in achieving the staffing objectives successfully and without delay. The HR Officer will also collaborate with the Learning and Development regional team of the ICRC based in Bangkok to ensure career development for the staff. He or she must perform with a high degree of promptness, accuracy, and order.
Main tasks:
Recruitment
· Sources the best candidates using a solid knowledge of the local labor market, appropriate recruitment channels, and creative promotional methods
· Ensures the proper execution of recruitment guidelines (for external and internal recruitments)
Selection
· Ensures the proper selection process, providing interview training when necessary
· Participates in interviews and discussion of employment conditions with candidates
Hiring and on-boarding
· Oversees the administrative process of hiring from the final offer to drafting of individual employment contract
· Ensures the integration of all new recruits and improves the on-boarding process as necessary
· Ensures the timely establishment of job descriptions and supports line managers in formulating position responsibilities
Staff planning
· Manages the planning tool for international staff
· Prepares regular reports on international staff and highlights critical observations on staffing
· Conducts identification and analysis of critical positions as well as position mapping
· Contributes to the elaboration of succession planning and gap analysis
Learning and development (training)
· Promotes the concept of professional development among staff members
· Oversees the execution of training guidelines and its coherent application, including identification of training providers
Performance management
· Ensures the consistent use of the performance management framework
Required profile:
A successful candidate will
· Possess a bachelor’s degree preferably in HR management, business administration or equivalent
· Have 4 years recruitment and talent management experience
· Have excellent skills in MS Office (specifically PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
· Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
· Organize responsibilities systematically, comply with rules, and deliver on time
A successful candidate may
· Have an additional certification on industrial and labor relations and HR management
· Have previous experience working with CRM/ ERP
