The ICRC has been working in the Philippines for more than 50 years. It carries out a range of activities to meet the needs of displaced and other vulnerable people, promote respect for international humanitarian law, and respond to emergencies, often in cooperation with its local partner, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).

DRIVER
Logistics Department
Based in Bislig City
Main tasks:
· Drives different types of light ICRC vehicles
· Transports people and/or materials while obeying the national traffic rules and regulations
· Checks equipment on attributed cars, tire pressure and fluid levels daily
· Ensures proper fueling and cleaning of the vehicles
· Coordinates properly with relevant ICRC staff for movements in difficult security environments
· Assists in loading and unloading of goods to/from vehicles
· Assists colleagues with distribution of materials as required
· Assists colleagues in translating local dialects
· Follows up vehicle maintenance
· Reports any traffic accident, security incidents or other problems on the road
· Obeys and respects ICRC Security Guidelines and social media policy
Minimum required profile:
· High school or college level education
· 2-year work experience in a similar function
· Excellent geographical knowledge of CARAGA Region
· Must speak and understand English, Tagalog and other local dialect/s in the region
· Masters 4X4 vehicle driving
· Basic vehicle maintenance skills
· Valid professional class driving license coded 1 and 2 (minimum) for at least 5 years
· Experience driving a 6-wheeler truck with a valid professional class driving license coded 3 is an asset
